We celebrated Finn's 2nd Birthday yesterday and he had such a great day! We started his day off with "Birthday boy, Birthday boy, here comes the Birthday boy". Then opening presents, which he loved. He did get his "Car's" car that he has been wanting for weeks now. He's talked about it for days and had many melt downs in stores over it. He played with his presents all day and then yesterday afternoon it was off to go see Car's the movie (I was a little disappointed in it) and then home to have Car's cake. We love our little Finn!

Bestest Dad!
I do want to give a shout out to the BEST dad EVER!! Jordan is so good with the boys and so wonderful to me. Happy Father's Day Jordan!! WE love you!!
Our boys are full of so much energy, as you may know if you have been around then for half a second. Our summer thus far has consisted of swimming at the lake a few times, swimming at the pool more than a few times, camping, playing in the back yard (it's usually after the sun has gone down since it's starting to get flamin' hot down here, and always water involved), eating popsicles, pada zobell and gamma visiting and just having fun.

Easter Sunday
We had a fun Easter Egg hunt this morning as the boys woke up, they also went on a "I spy" hunt through the house to find treats and a small gift. It was pretty fun, Finn just loved carrying around the Easter basket.

Catching Up
We went roller skating a couple weeks ago with one of Jordan's co-workers. Jet was so determined to not have any help roller skating. He did a great job, he did also ask if we could take the skates home with us.

Tribute to Grandma Hurst

Our sweet little grandma passed away yesterday evening at age 89. She lived such a full and happy life. She is now at peace on the other side of the veil with her family and friends. What an exciting reunion as her mother passed away when she was just 12 years old. She will be missed but her memories will always be strong. Some of my favorite memories were just talking with grandma. I'd help her clean and many times we'd end up talking about her life when she was young or her life raising kids. She had many stories she loved to tell that I loved to hear. I am so glad that I know that this is not goodbye forever, but just a fraction of time in the whole scheme of things. I know I will see her again and that just gives me a stronger desire to try and live a good clean life like grandma did.
